I run through the history of chocolate making and eating and the health benefits of eating chocolate. Then on to the exciting bit, you and your friends get to taste 12 different chocolates, not Mars, Caburys, and Galaxy but different cocoa solid % pure chocolate. Then you have the opportunity to buy some rather lovely hand made chocolates from me!!!! I now have a garage full of chocolate again, and am pushing full ahead in to the world of a self employed chocolate lady!!!

So to book or buy please get in touch!!! I obviously only do the South Wales area but I can put you in touch with a local chocolate lady!

Or you can order through me and I can post out!

NO this is not an advert, just letting you know what I have been up to and what is all about! Honest!

My youngest is now 5!!! 5 I tell you when the B Hell did that happen? how did my baby get so old? She had a lovely day and I made a FAB mermaid cake, even if I do say so!! photo above!

Am here Honest!

Hello yes I am here! Went on holiday, it is allowed you know!

The 4 of us went to sunny Cornwall (actually we had very nice weather!) for a week staying in Harlyn Bay just round the corner from Padstow (of Rick Stein fame). We and the smalls had a wonderful time and spent the majority of the week on the beach, well in the sea actually!
We did all the usuals, Eden project, Padstow, Newquay (aquarium), and of course not forgetting spending as much time as we could with our friends who live in Wadebridge. Come home with a slight tan, happy and 6 loads of washing to do! Oh the life of a housewife!

The Hens had a wonderful time too being looked after by a neighbour and my Father-in-law who both fed them, so we have come home to fattened up hens!

Last night we had our first full meal from the garden!! Lettuce, beans, peas, potatoes, and eggs all from our rather small patch!! SO exciting!

Rain!

Why oh why is it raining? (yes I understand the cloud thing) But its July for goodness sake, why could we not have a proper July and have days of hot sun? The children break up from school in a week and they are going to be penned in the house and I will have to think of "exciting" things to do with them! Crafty things, cooking, games inside instead of just going OUT!!

This is why I am a housewife, not a career girl!!! I want to be with my children Honest!!
No I will have a good summer.

A very good friend of mine rang me yesterday to rant about being penned in with her little boy, and she needed to rant at someone who understood her! Thats me!!! I know she loves him to death she was just having one of those Mum moments when everything is Too much and her boy was doing everything he knows (he's only 18 months) to wind her up good and proper! Poor girl I have soooo been there many times in the past, she (and he!) will survive but it may take a while! Learning to drive will help my darling! and getting out and some dry days too!
We all need a good rant from time to time!!

Would be good to have some sunshine next week please Mr Weatherman?! Caravans are no fun in the wet!

Wedding!

Went to a wedding today. Two 5 year olds getting hitched in the local parish church!!!
It was a learning activity for my youngest's class, and we the parents were encouraged to go and watch! So a friend and I decided to dress up for the occasion! We put on some slap and bling and a frock each! And off we tottered to the church.
My Ffi was the flower girl in a dress to die for! provided by the school, fitted like it was made for her!
Really enjoyed it and so did all the kiddies! They went back to school for the "reception" jelly and dancing!!
Funny funny!

Weekend

Well in between the rain showers we had an interesting weekend.

The planned (and paid for) surf lesson with the Rip Curl Girl tour on Llangennith beach, we were woken early by Sian (eldest) who was complaining of a head and tummy akes, then proceeded to throw up! great start! We took it slow and got ready to go she seemed to perk up a bit so off we went....

Only to get there and she threw up again in the hedge! oh goody, so I went and sweet talked the nice lady in charge and she gave us our bags of goodies and said we could go back any day in the hols for our lesson, cue Very Sad Sian! poor little thing, she really wanted to give it a go and we had to sit in the car and watch the others get ready and go off to the beach while we waited for hubby and Ffi to go down and have a bit of a play in the surf! And do you know what? IT DID NOT RAIN THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE!!

Also got some gardening done, and sorting the poor wet hens out! They look so sad and forlorn when it rains. But we did get the first few peas off the pea plants, which the girls got quite excited about!!

Happy July 4th!

Well, I know I am not American but its July 4th and nothing is doing here so Happy July 4th!!

Anyway enough of that! Am really gearing myself up for a "Rip Curl Girl Tour" surf lesson tomorrow on Llangennith beach, have got to squeeze this body into a wetsuit (should be interesting!) and then be able to move enough to jump on a board! HAhaha! No really am looking forward to it, will at least be able to say that I tried!

This week I have been doing the mundane! Sorting re-mortgage! woohoo! exciting stuff!

Although this morning I went for a wonderful cycle along the Celtic Trail, which just happens to run along behind our back fence (well it will when they have actually laid that part!) and goes both east into Swansea and west through Llanelli and beyond. I went west this morning. Wonderful views, beautiful wildlife, bunnies, birds and baby swans! I think I actually smiled the whole way! Only went for about 40 mins (can't tell you how far, lost the signs!) and then came back, wind in my face on the way back so was not sure if I would make it! I had to stop and remind myself that this was actually SO close to my home and this is why we live here! Really enjoyed "our" view! Will get a photo next time promise!!
